I have been online since the early 1980s when 'online' consisted of monopolizing the house telephone and using a modem to access local bulletin boards that required one-letter codes to hop from one virtual room to another.
When the 2000s rolled around and blogging was invented, I blogged, long before blogging became a monetized get-rich-quick scheme; first with Xanga.com, then with self-hosted WordPress sites.
A lot has changed since those early days, both with the world and with me. One thing that hasn't changed, though, is that I'm still active online. And my online ventures reflect my offline (i.e. in the real world) pursuits.
"And what are those?" you ask.
In short, I'm an artist, a writer, and a naturalist.
As an artist, I work mostly with acrylic paint, mixed media, digital art, & colored pencil, as well as photography. I create at Wild Pines Studio. The subject matter ranges from abstract to still life to birds. You can find prints of my work in addition to greeting cards, mugs, and other items for sell at Fine Art America by clicking on the artwork below left.
If you need stock images, you can also see more of my work on CanStockPhoto.com.
